On behalf of the Ottawa Fusion Soccer Club and his teammates, we sincerely express our condolences to Omer’s family, relatives and friends. Omer will always be remembered as a great team player. He was a sensational player. His competitive style and skills on the field were only surpassed by his incredible positive influence and zest for life off the field.

Rest in peace dear teammate and truly friend.

I've known Omer for a short period of time but he definitely has had a positive impact on our office and the lives he touched. "Where ever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories." You will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time. May you rest in peace Omer.

Omer, you were one of the nicest and friendliest people in the office. I may not have known you long, but in the short time we worked together, you became a friend, and I'm so thankful we had the chance to meet and share a few precious moments. It's still surreal that there will be no more passing moments in the aisles between the pods, no more chats in the servery... I can still picture your warm smile in my mind. You were taken from us way too soon - it doesn't seem fair at all. You were so caring and willing to go above and beyond the call of duty. You were one of my go-to people because I could always count on you to try. You were fun to talk to, we shared our jokes and our cultures with each other, and I could always go to you for help or advice with clients as well, making you an all-around joy to work with!
To the family - what an awful, tragic loss this is. I stand with you in the hurt. My prayers are with the whole family at this painful and difficult time. No words will lessen the blow but you can know that Omer was loved and is truly missed. He had such a wonderful presence, and made such a strong, positive impact on everyone he met and we can thank those closest to him for raising such an amazing person! I'm so sorry he's gone, but his memory does live on in the hearts of many, MANY people.
