Although my time spent in Omers presence was limited, he managed to make such a large impact in my life, my sons life and the lives of so many more. In a time where I really needed someone to believe in me, he did. He helped me in so many ways, as he did SO MANY. He was a peace keeper, a mentor, a friend, and had one of the biggest hearts I've had the honour of passing.
I am thankful to have had the chance to experience his light in my life.
Until we meet again, rest easy Omer .

I had the pleasure of working with Omer at the City of Ottawa. He always made me laugh so hard it hurt. He was great at his job, always going the extra mile. You will be missed Omer. May you rest in peace.

Everyone could always count on Omer to put a big smile on their face. He was a genuinely empathetic person who could connect with anyone. One of the funniest people I knew, and one of the smartest. I will miss the ridiculous pranks you and Mark got into, or telling my daughter that your are related to Aladdin. You will be greatly missed. Rest In Peace my friend.

Omer,

I had some of the best times of my life with you! Nothing I can say can take away the void you left by leaving everyone so soon. May you rest in peace.

Much love,
Mulvi

We are both beyond heartbroken to hear this news... Omer did so much for both of us when we were living downtown and trying to find a place together. We owe him so much for the fact that we are still together to this day, with a roof over our heads. Our deepest condolences to the family. He will be remembered fondly.

On t’oubliera jamais. Sending you a hug in heaven... RIP my dear friend Omer love
