Omer was one of the first friends I had coming back to Canada. He had a way of bringing people together and encouraging them to keep going and do better. There are not enough words that can explain how good of a human being he was and how much he will be missed by many. I miss you OG.

Omer was always willing to be of service to his community.
He built rapport naturally with his genuine spirit and interest in others, kindest of hearts and of course, jokes. He had the beautiful gift of being able to shine his light on others and brighten their day.
I am grateful for the time that we shared working together.
I hope that the comfort and joy that Omer brought to so many brings you, his loved ones, comfort in your grief.

We met in the Child Care Subsidy office and from the beginning there was a special connection! That spark in his eye, the loving, caring helpful soul. He took time to speak to my son at his time of need. You are forever in my heart. May you rest in peace.
My deepest sympathy to the family.

One of my dearest friends in Ottawa. I often went to see him and he always showed so much care for others and wanted to lift them up. He was doing such amazing things for his community and I am sure they will miss him dearly. For my closest friends in Ottawa this is a great loss. OG was one of our brothers and has been our good friend since high school years. He always told us he loved us and I cherish that memory dearly. A good man and a good friend. Lost too soon, but never forgotten.

I’m not really sure where to begin but my heart hurts for his family and close friends and honestly anyone who knew him at all because this man has always helped me when I couldn’t help myself, always supported me no matter what and never judged me or said anything negative about me or others, Omer had such a big and kind heart and was always there to talk if you needed someone’s support or advice or even just when you wanted to have a great conversation... I remember one of the many times I needed help to find housing and he was there for me and helped me find a place in no time and I no longer live there as things didn’t work out but he was there for me when no one else could find housing or a shelter for me to apply for or even a place to stay for the night... I will always remember Omer for his big heart and support for others that where struggling... RIP you will be missed greatly ❤️

Omer, my friend, my brother. I can't begin to describe how I feel. You were such a positive person, the life of the party and a natural comedian. You had such a big heart and were always willing to help absolutely anyone. You were a true friend. I'll miss our Friday night hip-hop rap battles together, followed by you dancing circles around me when we played FIFA on your PS4 and the night always ended with us watching multiple episodes of Jeopardy and getting into long winded discussions about the final Jeopardy questions. You will truly be missed and things will never be the same with you gone. I'll never forget you, I love you OG, may you be at peace and til we meet again.

Harika (Aunt)

İlk aşkım!Doğduğunda kucağıma verdiklerinde aşık oldum sana.minicik ellerinle parmaklarımı tutuşunu sevdim, meraklı bakışlarını sevdim, kırmızıya mıngış demeni sevdim.Yarı Türkçe,yarı İngilizce konuşmalarını sevdim,yüzünden eksik olmayan gülmelerini sevdim Ben senin kocaman sevgi dolu yüreğini sevdim.kalbindeki merhameti,gözlerindeki şefkati sevdim.naifliğini,sağduyulu olmanı sevdim.Ama en çokta bana Haguş demeni sevdim.
BEN SENİ ÇOK SEVDİM BE ÇOCUK ÇOK SEVDİM

Şimdi kalbimin yarısı yok, hayatın anlamı yok
Işık’lar içinde uyu bitanem .seni çok özleyeceğim canparem
