I remember the day I met Stew. I was 7 years old, and he was 3. He had on the cutest pair of overalls, and he was standing with his big sister Casey on the edge of their property, my new neighbors, and unknowingly to me then, was the beginning of an incredible friendship for over 30 years now, with his older sister. We were inseparable as kids, and Stew became the little brother I never had. Definitely the wildest child I’ve ever known with an unmeasurable amount of energy. I remember they used to have to lock him in his room during nap time because he would escape the house and go into Neighbor‘s cars and pretend he was driving. And countless times of being in the car with him myself and him doing circles in his seat, cause he just could not sit still. I have a lifetime of memories with Stewart. And like everyone here has mentioned his smile is something that will be engraved the minds of all who knew him. Such an incredibly tragic loss. My heart breaks for his sister, his parents and his family with his wife Cori. I pray for strength encourage for his family, as I know life will never be the same for them. I love you guys so much. Xoxo

Stuart & Lana Sherman
Lana and I are so sorry to hear about Stewart's passing. The impact on the Grays, Fenwicks and Levitans is unmeasurable, and we hope that the fond and happy memories can soon eclipse the hollow feelings of loss. It is especially sad to come to terms with the passing of someone so young, bright and with such an amazing family around him. I recall meeting Stewart at a few family events and was taken by his charming smile and his open and engaging manner. Although we can't be with you in Ottawa, our hearts and thoughts are with you, always.
My heart breaks upon hearing this news. I have the fondest memories of Stewart from our time at BCS, and I’ll always treasure the friendship we shared. He had the most beautiful smile and laugh in the world—his joy was truly contagious.
I’ve always admired Jerry and Gordon's generosity and the unconditional love they had for Stewart. It was so clear in everything they did for him and how they cared so deeply. The world feels like a darker place without him, but I know his kind heart and joyous smile will live on in all of us who were lucky enough to know him.
My deepest sympathy to his wife, Cori, during this incredibly difficult time.
