Sanjeev - It's funny, just the other day I was looking for something and found a bunch of photos with you and Ritika. The days when we saw each other almost every weekend. Late night Perkins dinners, Montreal, hanging at Koby/Tanima's or whatever it was. Although we have not spent time together in the last little while, your loss is profound to many of us. You are the only one who still called me Putki. I remember the last time I ran into you, Ritika and the boys at DSW - it was like no time had passed. Your infectious smile, ability to make others laugh and feel your friendship will always be cherished. Where ever you are, I hope you are at peace.

I have never met Sanjeev but it was just as if given that I have the privilege of working with his Dad for a number of years at the National Research Council. During lunchtime walks, Raman would speak so proudly of his sons. I remember vividly the descriptions of how Sanjeev met Ritika, courted and then married her. Followed by her arrival and settling in life in Canada. Then the boys came along and there were the tours of duty abroad.
My most heartfelt condolences to Raman, Kumud, Ritika, Hinesh, the boys and all the extended family and friends.
Sanjeev's passing is a heart breaking mystery and coming to terms with a loss does not necessarily mean that one must make sense of that loss.
Sending much warmth your way as you are dealing with the waves of this immense grief.

Sanjeev, we can't believe you are gone. You have a golden soul under that macho exterior, and always wanted what was best for everyone around you. You will be dearly missed.
