To Rithika and the Chauhan family - I am so heartbroken for your loss. Please accept my sincere condolences. Sending much love and many prayers your way.

Sanjeev - you were my brother from another mother. Your passing has hit me like a freight train. We had so many awesome conversations about life, war, culture, and a lot of whisky and cigars. Love you, my brother. I will see you again in the halls of Valhalla...

Sanjeev, you have always been a good friend to so many....a lifetime friend. We’d pick up where we left off, as if we just saw each other yesterday. You will be greatly missed. Your smile, wicked sense of humour and your sense of duty. My condolences to your family and loved ones. ???

To the entire Chauhan family, and especially Ritika, Nikhil, Hrithik, Hinesh, Kumud and Raman, I am so incredibly sorry for your loss and completely heartbroken. Sanjeev was a wonderful comrade and human being. He was never one to pass up an opportunity for a joke, or to mentor those who came after him in the Army. Being quite junior to him, I always appreciated how welcoming and endearing he always was. My heart goes out to all of you, and I hope Sanjeev rests in eternal peace.
