It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Ross Alexander Phillips of Ottawa on November 24, 2024  at the age of 77. Survived by his loving wife of 53 years Linda née Stevenson, his children Christopher (Crystal), Ryan, Ian (Lindsay) and his cherished granddaughters Piper, Avery and River. Ross will be deeply missed by his brother Bruce (Annette, niece Nathalie) sister Margo (Greg Hodgson), extended family and friends.

Ross was a dedicated Civil Servant with Revenue Canada for 25 years. He built a reputation as a hardworking individual who always put the needs of his family and others  before his own.

The family would like to thank the staff at the CCU at the General Hospital and the staff at the May Court Hospice for their compassionate care.
A private family service was held on November 26th with internment at Beechwood Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the May Court Hospice or the University of Ottawa Heart Institute in his memory.

We were saddened to learn of Ross's passing from our Farm Gate neighbours. He was a reliable fixture on
our end of the Crescent and always
chatted on his way to the community mailbox or when we were out for a walk around the block. Our sincere condolences to Linda and his family.
