Passed away peacefully January 5, 2025, at the age of 91. Beloved husband, father, brother and friend. Frank has left this earth to be with his wife Helen and daughter Karyn. He is leaving behind his son Terry (Helena), sister Mary (Ray) St Amand, and many dear friends and relatives. Frank lived his whole life in Ottawa, where he had a long government career. His greatest passion was to play, coach and watch sports, while socializing with friends. As an amazing fan of the Ottawa 67’s he had season tickets for 35 years. Frank was a passionate volunteer throughout his life, dedicating countless hours to Children’s Aid, the Kidney Foundation, the Heart and Stroke foundation, and a number of sports organizations in Orleans. Frank was truly one of a kind, and his big smile and humor will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Friends are invited to the funeral service on Saturday, Jan 11, 2 pm, at St Helen’s Anglican Church, 1234 Prestone Dr, Orleans.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke foundation.

Frank was a kind and gentle man. We worked together proctoring at Carleton University. My memories include how fondly he spoke of his wife and how he would visit her everyday. We also spoke of his growing It was a trip down memory lane for both of us.
Sadly
I have a very bad cold today and don't want to
pass it to anyone so I am unable to attend the funeral. I am sorry that I won't be able to say a last goodbye.

Frank was a true joy. I first met him when I was a cheerleader for the 67's and then had the pleasure of proctoring with him at Carleton for many years. We kept in touch over the years over email and text, and had many long phone calls. He had an incredible way of brightening any day by asking "has anyone told you yet how wonderful you are today?". He was always a jokester and loved to laugh. You'll be dearly missed Frank, my bud.
My dearest friend Frank, I loved every minute of knowing you ... since the first day of meeting you at TD place I know we'd create this wonderful friendship ... I will always remember you xx Rest in Peace my friend
