Passed away peacefully January 5, 2025, at the age of 91. Beloved husband, father, brother and friend. Frank has left this earth to be with his wife Helen and daughter Karyn. He is leaving behind his son Terry (Helena), sister Mary (Ray) St Amand, and many dear friends and relatives. Frank lived his whole life in Ottawa, where he had a long government career. His greatest passion was to play, coach and watch sports, while socializing with friends. As an amazing fan of the Ottawa 67’s he had season tickets for 35 years. Frank was a passionate volunteer throughout his life, dedicating countless hours to Children’s Aid, the Kidney Foundation, the Heart and Stroke foundation, and a number of sports organizations in Orleans. Frank was truly one of a kind, and his big smile and humor will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Friends are invited to the funeral service on Saturday, Jan 11, 2 pm, at St Helen’s Anglican Church, 1234 Prestone Dr, Orleans.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke foundation.

Our dear Frank you will be sadly missed you became my friend while my mom and Helen were in the same home. You gave me hugs on the days I had tears and became a very dear friend. Deepest condolences. I didn’t know Frank very well, first met him when Helen was my patient years ago at the Civic. I later ran into him in spinning classes at Bob MacQuarrie rec centre where he always lit
up the room.
He clearly lived a very full life and was an inspiration to many. RIP Frank.

Frank was passionate about the Ottawa 67s. We chatted all the time about so many things. I can see him smiling that he is reunited with Helen. Until we meet on the other side.

I met Frank and Helen at the Ottawa 67s games. They were great supporters of the players and the Booster Club. We had many conversations and visits over the years and they are both truly missed. On a happy note Frank will be reunited with the love of his life. Until we meet again

Frank used to come to the gym where I worked . He knew everyone, was fun, warm, friendly and always willing to help out, welcome a new member or join in the fun. Terry he talked of you and Helen with so much love. Family is everything for Frank and anyone who knew him was blessed.

Frank always put a smile on my face.
I met him at Bob Macquarie 20 years ago.
We had great chats together.
