It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jack Spearns, who left this world peacefully on October 18th, 2025, at home, surrounded by love and in the arms of his wife.

Born on February 4th, 1976, in Ottawa, Jack lived a life marked by courage, humor, and a fierce devotion to those he loved. Known for his quick wit, hard exterior, and unwavering loyalty, he touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Jack found his greatest joy in life’s simple moments — the laughter of family, the comfort of friends and the calm of the ocean, his favorite place of peace. Though he faced illness with extraordinary strength and courage, his spirit remained unshaken. He fought hard and never gave up.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Brittany Spearns; his daughter, Jasmine Spearns; his son, Jordan Spearns; his sister May Spearns; his parents, Ron and Ruth Spearns; and many friends and extended family who will carry his memory in their hearts forever.

Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever at peace, Forever healed.

Dear Brittany, Jasmine and Jordan - I am so sorry for your loss. Jack was not someone I got to now very well, we met because our kids magnetized to each other in preschool. But everything i read here and everything said today was still so apparent to me - it shone from Jack. His love for his family and his upstanding character were evident. I am so grateful to know your family and to have spent some moments with Jack. May he rest in peace.
