Diane and family, our deepest condolences to your entire family. Dwight was an exceptional leader, mentor, friend, and above all, family man. We are so fortunate to have worked with him, learned from him, laughed with him, and to have so many great memories. His high ethical standards and heartfelt empathy were consistently displayed in his daily behaviours. Dwight had a significant impact on so many people and will be sorely missed. Wishing you much courage and strength during this difficult time.

Our family is with you in thought and prayer and much love as you remember and celebrate Dwight.
I have lived far from Dwight for most of my life but memories of him live long with his distinctive singing voice and his guitar. Dad sometimes joined him on piano and whoever was present sang along. Family singsongs while growing up and later reunions echoed with Dwight’s singing. I am blessed to still have the taped music of a few of those old singsongs or reunions that we all loved. Also an audio clip of Dwight’s ‘Beautiful Gaspe’ he composed. Dwight had a kind heart and a presence that filled a room.
We will sing with you again in heaven. Remembering you Dwight with love. Cal

My sincere condolences to Dianne and the McCallum family. We have lost a great member and wonderful person, but what fond memories we all have. I had the pleasure and honour of working with Dwight for many years in different roles. He was a great friend that will be missed by many of us, but never forgotten.

Diane, my heartfelt sympathies to you and the extended family. Dwight was always a kind and generous man. He was my “ boss “ during on a number of times within the RCMP.
He was much more than a boss. He was a true leader, mentor, and a caring friend. He was always respectful to all and he received respect from everyone in return.
Diane, may you and all your family cherish the many beautiful memories, and may those memories provide you the comfort to continue to share Dwight’s life with all.

Dear Dianne, Kim, Chris and family. My thoughts and love are stretching out across the oceans to you all. I had the pleasure of meeting Dwight in London and again when he came to Australia. Dwight was the type of man that drew people to him, with his loving nature, friendly smile and unwavering love for his family. Dwight you will be sorely missed, the stars will shine all that bit brighter now with you looking down on us. Kim although I am far away please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Sending you so much love. Katie xxx

We were shocked and saddened to learn of Dwight's passing. Our sincere condolences Dianne, Kim, Chris and family. We have many fond memories of connecting in Gaspe and later Ottawa and that time that Dwight came with his cousin Winnie to rescue us after our car broke down in Ontario during our cross country home coming. He always called and touched base when he arrived in Fredericton for a visit. He was truly family-oriented with a kindness and caring that brightened even the darkest day. We are so very sorry for your deep loss.

What terrible sad news to learn about Dwight’s passing, especially after reconnecting just prior to his passing, after so many years since Dwight and I were roommates at St. John’s Hall in Quebec City while attending Quebec High School together 1964-65.
I was so thrilled to be able to locate and contact Dwight by telephone and briefly share some cherished school memories. I was so looking forward to getting together with Dwight and meet his family, whenever I could arrange to get back to Ottawa. My deepest condolences to the entire McCallum Family.
