Dianne and family, we send our deepest sympathy to all of you for your loss. We are sure that you will treasure all the good memories of such a fine husband and father as Dwight was. I have many memories of our times serving together on Fredericton Highway Patrol and of the good times we had playing music together. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Larry and Linda

What a sad and absolute shock to hear this terrible news. Dwight and I grew up together in Gaspe and were best friends through school. cubs, scouts and all of the things that kids and neighbours go through. When the McCallums moved to Sandy Beach I remember the sliding parties on toboggans, flying saucers and sheets of cardboard down the long hill behind their house. So many happy memories including having taught his sister Carolyn and brother Bert when I started teaching in Gaspe in 1968. I last saw Dwight at Gary Mabe's funeral in Ingleside a few years ago and we were able to share some of those cherished memories. My deepest condolences to the McCallum Family. We have lost a good man but we will never forget him!

To Dwight's family. So sorry to hear of Dwight's passing. I worked with Dwight in Riverview NB in the late 1970's/early1980's. I'll never forget his huge friendly smile and huge Ovation guitar. We played a few tunes together back then. My family members and friends in the Keswick Ridge area where I live now have nothing but kind words and the utmost respect for Dwight.

Very sorry to hear this news. It was an honour to work for, and learn from, him for a few years at NHQ. He was always so nice and pleasant. Deepest condolences to family and friends.

Many happy memories for me going back to when Dwight and I were little boys playing at Sandy Beach in Gaspé and my family visiting with his. I believe the last time I saw Dwight was at the McCallum family reunion in Gaspé some 20 years ago. I recall an evening where we were both standing on a makeshift stage singing our hearts out (there were others as well) with Dwight strumming his guitar.
Our condolences to his immediate family as well as relatives and friends. A truly sad time that can only be lessened by reflections on the past.
