Born the 18th of June 1962 and passed away the 1st of May 2022.

WO Balazs joined the Canadian Armed Forces in November 1981. He was a distinguished member of the Canadian Armed Forces. He was a loving father, brother and grandfather. In his spare time he was always volunteering in his community. Tim volunteered at the 784 Wing, Bingo Association, New Imperial Inn and Western Budget.

Tim is lovingly survived by his three sons: Shawn Balazs (Rebecca Campbell) of Ottawa, ON; Douglas Balazs of Dartmouth, NS, Will Balazs of Cold Lake, AB; two grandchildren: Anna and Galen; brother: Thomas Michael (Faye) Balazs of Barrie, ON; sister: Elizabeth (Richard) Netto of Long Point, ON; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Tim was predeceased by his parents: Michael and Marika Balazs.

Family, friends, and colleagues are invited to the Hall of Colours within the Beechwood National Memorial Centre, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa, on Monday, August 22, 2022 from 1130hr until 1330hr, at which time, Tim will be laid to rest with Full Military Honours in the National Military Cemetery of Beechwood.
