Timothy John Anstis 78, passed away on Sunday 9th, 2023, at The Ottawa Civic Hospital
Timothy was born on February 20, 1945 in Toronto, To Parents John Murray Russell and Lilian Mary McKenzie, He spent his earlier life in Brockville.
Tim dedicated 29 years to the RCMP. War Crime Investigator with the United Nations after his work with the RCMP. Worked as A security consultant, helped with Police Training.
His greatest passion was Helping where he could, whether it was with his work or his personal life.
Above he loved his family & friends unconditionally a great Father, Step Father & Husband. He leaves behind his Wife Dusabe Marie Louise, children Darina.
His Memorial will be held at the Beechwood Cemetery, April 13,2023.

I am so sorry to hear of Tim’s passing. I offer my condolences to his family and friends. I have many fond memories of the time I spent with Tim on Halifax Drugs many years ago.. Tim had the ability of leaving a positive impression on those he worked with.

All through training Tim swam like a dolphin, stood the tallest in his shiny high browns, saluted like our drill instructor and became a fan of A & W Teen Burgers. A few years after graduation I had the opportunity to work with Tim in Port Hawkesbury Detachment "H" Division and play hockey with and against him. He was a stellar net-minder. I will always remember Tim as a troop-mate with extreme self confidence and having a wonderful dry sense of humour. Rest in Peace troop-mate.

Jan and I are very sorry to hear of Tim's passing. I worked with Tim in Kentville, NS and have many good memories of our times together. Over the years our paths did meet during our working days and we always had a laugh together telling stories of the good old days. Tim always had a nice vehicle and in those days very nice clothing. Very Sad to hear of Tim's passing
Worked with Tim back in the 70's while with the Drug Enforcement Squad at Halifax Sub. Div. He was a very dependable and effective member who could "Get the job done". With Tim on your side you knew that the sometimes "Rocky Road" would be a little softer and the general public would be well served. His work ethics continued to expand throught his career and he undoubtedly had a significant and positive effect on those who had the good fortune and working with him.
We need a lot more Tims in our world

Tim and I were roommates at Thornvale Barracks in Halifax, and worked together at Halifax Highway Patrol. We shared our love of hockey and fast ball with the RCMP teams.

I was shocked to hear of his passing and like to express my condolences to his family and friends from my wife and myself. Although we did not cross paths that much after training he was a good college troop mate and friend. Take care and remember your memories as will help through this.
