It is with sorrowful hearts that the family of Stephen Cooper announces his sudden passing on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at the age of 67. Adored husband, best friend, and soulmate of Katherine Cooper, beloved son-in-law to Amy Hoelke, loving father to Wesley (Vi), Caitlin, Laurie (Bharath), and Hayley Cooper, and younger brother to Lynn Falla and Shirley Quart. Predeceased by his mother and father, Lillian Costello and Norman Cooper, and his wife, Katherine Cooper. Stephen passed on the day of his and Katherine’s 43rd wedding anniversary. His memory will be forever treasured by his family, who give thanks for his laughter, wisdom, and everlasting love. A private family service will be held. For those wishing, a donation may be made to the MS Society of Canada in honour of Steve’s wife, Katherine.

I first met Steve in 1970 shortly before he became my brother in law. Very fond memories of his love of music and his excitement at dating Kathy. He will be greatly missed.
I’m so sorry to hear the news of Uncle Steve’s passing. He was much to young, but now he’s with his love again. He will be not only missed but celebrated by all those who loved him.
