Sandra Rita Davis, age 64 passed away on April 1, 2023, after a three-month struggle with cancer. Predeceased by her parents, Roy, and June Davis, she will be dearly missed by her sisters Gail Campeau (Jean Campeau), Sharon Brady (Peter Brady) and her brother Wayne Davis (Lori Timlin). Sandra leaves behind her loving second family of Nelia Goncalves, Garner Foster, Donald, and Robert.

Sandra worked in plant maintenance since 1989 under the supervision of OCAPDD. She was always thrilled to participate and socialize with her friends in many sporting events, she won gold in Snowshoeing in the 2000 Special Olympics. Her friendly demeanor, easy laugh and amazing memory endeared her to many, many relatives, colleagues, and friends.

All are invited to attend Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Avenue) on Wednesday, May 17th, 2023, for a Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m., with an interment at Beechwood Cemetery, followed by a Reception Celebration of Life from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. where guests are invited to share memories of this wonderful person. In lieu of flowers (not a favourite of Sandra’s), donations to the Special Olympics or the Ottawa Stray Cat Rescue would be appreciated.

I have such fond memories of my talks with Sandra at Family gatherings which she enjoyed and loved so much. She always asked after your family when you were with her, and she would tell me their ages and birthdays (as I don’t remember them all myself!). She was such a bright light to so many and a joy to be around. You left us too soon Sandra. You will forever be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with all the Davis and Brady families. RIP Sandra. ?
