Passed away peacefully on October 22nd, 2024 at the age of 87 years. Ruth was predeceased by her parents, Edward Walmsley, Christina (nee Hunter), stepfather James MacKenzie, sister Elinor Scott (nee Walmsley), and husband James Hill.
She leaves behind her dear daughter and son, Joanne Hill (Peter) and Brian Hill (Sherry). She will be missed by her grandchildren Breanne, C.J., Christian, Amaya, and Laila. Cremation has taken place, and will be followed by a private interment at Beechwood Cemetery (280 Beechwood Ave., Ottawa, ON).
