Peter Jonathan Tucker Gibson, born June 20, 1984, passed away suddenly on November 8, 2022, at the age of 38. Beloved son of Pat Bailey and her partner Ian Rankin and Del Gibson and his wife Peggy Gibson. Loved brother of Emily Gibson and Matt Gibson. Dear Grandson of Betty and the late Del Gibson, and the late Jack and Grace Bailey. Survived by his stepsiblings, cousins, and caring friends. Peter was a valued employee of the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions for over a decade. He was a bright light who dimmed too soon. A private family service will be held. No visitation. Donations can be made in Peter’s memory to the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.

I was so very sorry to hear of Peter's passing. My deep and sincere condolences to his family and friends. He was a well-known OSFI colleague whose intellect could get us to a solution faster and whose quick wit and humour made our workplace so much more enjoyable. I consider myself lucky to have worked with and known Peter. He will be missed.
