Passed away at the Ottawa General Hospital on Friday, December 13, 2024, at the age of 56. Beloved partner of Céline Harrington. Loving father of Mélika Guertin (Marc-André), Nicholas Guertin-Thibodeau (Angela), Cassandra Guertin-Thibodeau (Dmitrii) and Joshua Guertin-Thibodeau (Hailey). Cherished “Grand-Poupou” of Cléa, Miro, Ravi, Leo and a new baby on the way. Son of the late Bernard Thibodeau and Juliette Thibodeau (née Levac). He will also be fondly remembered by the mother of his four children, Nathalie Guertin, best friends Gilles Fortier, Benoît Ouellette, Pierre Sabourin and Eric Pidgeon, by hunting buddies, especially Stéphane Sarazzin and Rock Hébert and by many other extended friends, family.
Patrick was a long-time Volunteer Firefighter with the Embrun Fire Department and known to many as Mr. M&M and as Uncle Buck. He will also be missed by his brothers from the Knights of the Inferno, of which he was a founding member of the Canadian chapter. The firefighter group rode to fundraise money to assist those suffering from severe illnesses such as brain injuries.
Family and friends are invited to Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa) on Saturday, February 8, 2025, for a Visitation at 12 noon followed by a Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
