My sincere condolences to Patrick's family. I have know Patrick for over twenty years at the Riverside. Always a "good day lad" and a joke. He always talked with pride about his family. He will be missed.

Dear Pat. It’s been 4 years since I’ve worked with you, but I’ll never forget your sense of humour and kindness to me and the patients at the Riverside. Thanks for being you.

My sincere condolences to the family. I worked with Patrick at the Eye Care Centre for almost 10 years. He worked very hard and was part of the Eye Care Team since the early days at the Grace hospital. He was wonderful to the patients and always had a kind and reassuring word for them. He enjoyed sharing his "Dad" jokes to make everyone smile or groan. :). He looked out for staff and didn't tolerate nonsense. I remember one incident when he stayed behind to assist me to ensure this difficult patient didn't act up. He was very kind to do this. Patrick spoke very highly of his family and we shared stories about our grandkids. He was so looking forward to retiring after his many years of service to the hospital. I am sorry that he never got to enjoy his retirement.
