It is with deep sorrow but filled with loving memories that we announce the passing of Nicole Bouvier Brazeau on January 26, 2025, at the age of 82, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Originally from the village of Bourget in Eastern Ontario, daughter of the late Elmer Bouvier and the late Yvonne Gratton, she leaves behind her beloved husband of over 62 years, Marcel, as well as her son Marc (Barry).

She also leaves behind her brother Pierre Bouvier, her sister-in-law Noëlla Lalonde (late Vincent) and her brother-in-law Jacques Brazeau (Rachel), as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her two brothers Roch Bouvier (Aline) and Roger Bouvier (late Diane) and her sister-in-law Diane Brazeau.

For those who knew her, she lived a wonderful life and loved nothing better than being with her many friends and family, as well as traveling with her husband, son and son-in-law.

A special thanks to all of the care staff of the Gatineau Hospital and the Maison Mathieu Froment-Savoie in Gatineau.

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of her life to be held February 22, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the BEECHWOOD Cemetery, located at 280 Beechwood Avenue in Vanier (Ottawa), followed by a reception. The family will receive condolences starting at 11:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, your expressions of sympathy may be expressed by a donation to the Mathieu Froment-Savoie Foundation in memory of Nicole Bouvier.

You may leave a condolence message by clicking the Sign Digital Guest tab on the left of this page.
