It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Nha-Ling Jean Wong.

Nha-Ling will be remembered for her love of beauty, her kindness and the quiet joy she found in everyday moments. Her loving and forthright nature touched all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving sister Nancy (late Jack-You), brother Lance (Vivian), brother Donald (Liz) and sister Kaye. She will also be fondly remembered by her many cherished nieces (Connie, Ami, Kaila and Ziena), nephews (Garrett and Jacob) as well as her great-nieces and great-nephews.

Nha-Ling will be dearly missed for her warmth, her presence and the love she gave so freely.

A private family burial service will be held on Monday January 19, 2026 at Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services. A Celebration of Life will follow at a later date, where friends and loved ones will be invited to gather and remember Nha-Ling. Further details to come.

I’m struggling to absorb this news. Beautiful, vibrant, kind, and generous Nha-Ling is gone? It really hard to imagine this incredible woman has left us. I got to work with her at CPAC. But I knew about her before that because she was, well, a legend. Rest in peace Nha-Ling. No, scrap that, do in heaven what you did for us here on earth - make every soul around you feel special.

Still in absolute shock my friend. Glad we spent such a great day in the valley together in November. If you could only see all these comments from a who’s who in Canadian media of how valued you were as a makeup artist. And as a kind and caring person as well. Well now you are together with Susan. I know how much you loved her and missed her. And of course your parents too..you had just told me it was the tenth anniversary of your dear dads passing. Xoxoxo

I am gutted. She was such a fine and sparkly human being. We just spoke in the fall about her life and changes and I will really miss her. Huge love to her family and friends. This is so sad to hear.

Dear family of a shining star, Nha Ling: this woman lit up every room she entered. Although her time with us may have been too short, she had a smile and a way that left an impact--and she won't be forgotten. Love to you all in this horribly difficult time.
