With deep sorrow, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, Natalie Sorcha Tam, 46 years old, of Ottawa, Ontario, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on January 3, 2025.
Natalie is survived by her mother, Yim Fong Tam; her sister, Shannon Au; her brother-in-law, Victor Au; and her nephew and niece, Zachariah and Mary-Beth, respectively.
Natalie Sorcha Tam was born in Ottawa on March 17, 1978, to Kai Fun Tam and Yim Fong Tam. She graduated from Algonquin College with a diploma in Graphic Design. Her passion for graphic design led to freelance opportunities within the National Capital Region, and later as a Marketing Associate for the Hudson Bay Company.
Natalie was a faithful member of her church, serving for many years in the Multimedia Production Design Team at Lifecentre Church. She will be remembered as a big Disney and Stitch fan, and an avid runner. These interests always led her to run in as many annual Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend events as possible.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends - including her HBC, Disney, and Running communities.
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

Natalie was a quiet, sweet, gentle soul. She always had a smile, a positive word, and was dedicated to whatever she put her mind to. I will miss her cherry greetings whenever we would bump into each other. Rest well, dear Natalie.
