Peacefully in Ottawa, in her 91st year with her daughter Alicia by her side. Beloved wife of the late Ray Carruthers, adored Mum, much loved aunt to family and friends around the world and many at home. Mum embraced life - travelling around the world with Dad in his air force career, my career and her volunteerism in the community where she landed. Home was her beloved cottage at Aylen Lake. A Celebration of Life will be held at Beechwood’s National Memorial Centre, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa, Ontario on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 1:00PM. No funeral colours - bright colours welcome at the service to honour Mum. In memoriam donations to the Ottawa Humane Society, May Court Club of Ottawa or charity of your choice appreciated.
