Passed peacefully, on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at the age of 78 at the Perley and Rideau Veterans’ Health Centre, with his family at his side.   Beloved husband to Audrey (nee Addison), devoted father to Trevor (Sandra) and Tracey, adoring grandfather to Ashley, Summer, Logan, and Rowan and loving great grandpa to Jace.

Larry proudly served Canada for 26+ years in the RCAF.  He held various positions including Radar Warrant Office (RADWO), Installation Support WO, Life Cycle Material Manager and Instructor at CFJLS.  His favourite posting was TRACS (Terminal Radar and Control System) in Trenton.  Larry loved the outdoors and music and will be sorely missed.   In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honour to The Perley and Rideau Veterans’ Health Centre Foundation or Parkinson Canada.

Many thanks to Larry for helping preserve Cold War history on his DEW Line and Mid Canada Line websites. I will miss our many interesting email exchanges. We never met in person, but I feel like were close friends. Thank you for serving, and rest in peace.

My condolences to Audrey and family. I knew and served with Larry on two radar stations and at DEEM in Ottawa. I remember his calm approach during any crisis and his excellent advice on all matters.

My condolences to Audrey and family. Larry and Audrey were my next door neighbours at CFS Raymore. I respected his technical abilities and the effort and dedication he put into his web sites which I enjoyed and which brought back many fond memories of past times and fellow Airmen.
