I am so shocked and deeply saddened to receive this news. I had the opportunity and privilege to work with Michel during my career, and remember those times with pleasure. He was a kind and gentle soul, and so pleasant to be around. As I write this, I remember our lunch time chats. My thoughts and prayers are with Michel’s family during this difficult time.

I had the distinct pleasure and privilege of working together with Michel in various roles during our military service and was always struck by his tremendous dedication to both his sons as well as the Canadian Forces. He was a very thoughtful and sincere gentleman for whom I had tremendous respect, and I benefitted greatly from his wise counsel and support. Through his quiet, but competent demeanor he managed to accomplish many great things for Canada's military and the members of the C&E Branch, even well after he retired from active service. Although I am saddened by the fact that he has been called to a better place so early in his life, I will always count among my greatest blessings, my association with him. God speed Michel.

To all of the family, my sincere condolences on the passing of Michel. Although, no words can truly help ease the loss of Michel, please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.
There are certain people in the occupation that really stood out for what they did, accomplished and the effect they had on people. Michel was one of these. I had the opportunity to work with Michel often and there was no one that was as dedicated to moving the occupations both SIGINT and Cyber forward like Michel. He will be missed not only by your family, but by both occupation families. Again, please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. May you rest in peace Michel.
