It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Max Osa Brice, on April 6, 2025.
A former diplomat for the United Nations, Max dedicated his life to promoting global peace. He leaves behind his two cherished daughters, Marjorie and Natasha Brice, and his grandson, Anthony Maximus Brice-Lamothe, along with many friends and colleagues who admired his integrity and dedication.
Max had a distinguished career in international diplomacy but chose early retirement to focus on his family. This decision allowed him to be fully present for his daughters, offering them unwavering love, wisdom, and guidance. As a widowed father, he worked tirelessly to create a stable and nurturing environment, teaching his daughters the values of compassion, resilience, and kindness.
While his professional achievements were notable, Max cherished his role as a father above all else. His legacy of love and devotion to family will continue to inspire his daughters and all who knew him.
Max is survived by his daughters, grandson, sister France Brice, brother Reynold Brice, and many others. A memorial service will be held to honor his life.
Family and friends are invited to Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa), for a Visitation on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 from 11am until the time of the Funeral Service at 1pm in Beechwood's Sacred Space Chapel.
Rest in peace, Max. Your love and legacy will endure forever.
