It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband and father, Lam Ko Chau, on the evening of May 22, 2024.
Lam Ko was the loving husband of Diane and proud father to Lisa (Tristan), Karen (Chris) and adored granddaughter, Sage. He is also survived by 8 siblings, many nieces and nephews and extended family.
Lam Ko was the eldest son of 26th generation on his paternal side. He was educated in Australia and Canada and went on to complete Engineering degrees in both places.
Having worked in both private and public sectors, he pursued his passion for invention and has numerous scientific patents in his name.
At the age of 70, he accomplished a lifelong dream of attaining his black belt in Judo, which at the time made him the oldest recipient in Ontario.
Lam Ko will always be remembered for his beautiful smile and generous, giving and kind spirit. Nothing made him happier than being with family.
He will forever be in our hearts and thoughts.
A graveside service and remembrance will be held for immediate family.
