It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our wonderful mother and grandmother, Joanne M. Hagar, surrounded by family on Friday, May 20th, 2022, at the age of 84.
Joanne was predeceased by, and now reunited with, her loving husband Walter Hagar. Beloved mother of Peter (Karen), Jennifer, Julie (Robert), Geoffrey, Stephanie and the late Wally. She will be missed by her grandchildren Neil, Sarah, Brandon, Ashley, Vanessa, Olivia and Paul (deceased) and her great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents, Conrad and Dorothy Grichen and brother Thomas. Survived by her sister Frieda and brothers Carl (Patricia) and Paul (Frances). Aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Joanne was a faithful woman who loved the Lord, her family, church and community. She took great joy in teaching Sunday school and her generous nature found comfort in caring for many elderly friends.
As per her request, a private graveside service will be held.

Matthew 5:4 “Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted.”

Sorry for getting into this so long after the announcement. Sorry to hear about your mother Peter. Wish I could be there in person for you and your family but MS has me in rehab. Be well old friend!
