Au Centre d'accueil Champlain d' Ottawa, le samedi 4 décembre 2021, à l'âge de 55 ans, est décédée Jacqueline Breau. Elle demeurait à Orléans, Ontario. Née le 22 décembre 1965, elle était fille de feu Alphonse Breau et de Denyse Montminy Breau, d'Orléans, Ontario.
Outre sa mère, elle laisse dans le deuil sa sœur Joanne, ainsi que ses neveux Philippe d' Ottawa et Alexandre (Catherine McRae) de Montréal ainsi que de nombreux amis.
Jacqueline a réussi une excellente carrière en tant qu'infirmière (RN) à l' hôpital d' Ottawa, principalement au département des urgences. Elle a commencé sa carrière à Montréal à l'Hôpital Royal Victoria. Elle a acquis une vaste expérience en travaillant une année aux États-Unis à St. Petersburg en Floride. Par la suite, elle a œuvré auprès des grands brûlés en Arabie Saoudite.
Dès son jeune âge, elle étudie la musique à l'École de musique Vincent d'Indy, Outremont, Québec. La musique fut sa passion. Elle compétitionne au niveau national au sein d'un groupe de musique baroque, Ensemble Capriole. Remportant la première place, elle s'envole, avec le groupe, pour la Nouvelle Orléans (É-U) pour compétitionner au niveau international. Le groupe remporte la médaille d'or.
La messe des funérailles aura lieu le samedi 11 décembre à 11 h 00 à la paroisse St Joseph, 2757 boul. St Joseph à Orléans, ON.

Jacqueline Breau passed away at Centre d’accueil Champlain in Ottawa, on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at the age of 55. She resided in Orléans, Ontario. Born on December 22, 1965, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse Breau and Denyse Montminy Breau, also from Orléans, Ontario.
Other than her mother, she leaves to mourn her sister, Joanne, as well as her nephews Philippe, from Ottawa and Alexandre (Catherine McCrae), from Montreal, as well as many friends.
Jacqueline had an excellent nursing career (RN) at the Ottawa Hospital, working mainly in the Emergency Department. She began her career in Montreal at the Royal Victoria Hospital. She acquired a vast experience while working one year in St-Petersburg, Florida (USA). Jacqueline also worked in Saudi Arabia with severely burned patients.
From a young age, she studied music at Vincent d’Indy Music School in Outremont, Québec. Music was her passion. She competed nationally with Ensemble Capriole, a baroque music group. Winning first place, she then headed with the group to New Orleans (USA) to compete at an international level, where they won the gold medal.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 11, at St-Joseph Parish, 2757 St-Joseph Blvd., in Orléans, ON.

I worked my very first staff shift with Jackie at the General ER in 2008 and she was instrumental in getting me started in my career. She was smart and kind and will be dearly missed by myself and the rest of the physician group.
