Brother to Carol Williams (uncle to Melanie and Reggie), Joan Adams (brother-in-law to Reg, both predeceased), Doug Jones (brother-in-law to Grace, both predeceased), Tony Jones (predeceased) (brother-in-law to Marilyn, uncle to Kevin and Gordon).
Loved dearly by family in Guelph, Yarker and Oshawa Ontario.Loved by many friends who were like family, which he met throughout his military career and retired life in Petawawa, Pembroke, Goose Bay/Labrador, Shawville, Ottawa and many caring neighbors in Kanata.
Gord has asked that we have a party, not a funeral and as a family we know that we can’t celebrate a great outdoorsman inside. We’re planning a proper Newfie send off for next summer at the cottage he loved and a private cremation will take place in the interim.
In lieu of flowers Gord would like you to consider a donation of any size to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute (https://bit.ly/3YRvhd7).
Gord’s lifespan was doubled due to their work and for that we’re forever grateful. (e-card notifications can be sent to carolemilyrose@gmail.com)

Love you bunches my brother in-law. When I was little I didn't want you taking my sister from me. You being in her life was the best that has ever happened. A serious but comical personality I will never forget. You will be very much missed. May you Rest In Peace. You're not suffering anymore. Gord, you're embedded in our hearts. Until we meet again. Love you my brother. 😘 🌹 🌹
