Passed away peacefully, at the Brockville General Hospital, at the age of 83, Devoted husband of Margaret “Jean” Borden for 63 years. Loving father of Stephen “Wayne”
Borden and “Brenda” Ann (Borden) Crowe. Cherished grandfather of Shawn, Gregory, Savannah (Morille), Benjamin, Julie (Bryan) and Danny; great-grandfather to Ava and
Malik.

Predeceased by his parents, Hugh Grant Borden and Edith (nee Purser) Borden; 6 sisters; Joyce, Jean, Delha, Ruth, Jacqueline, Joan and their spouses, and Daisy...and 2 brothers Earle and Eric and their spouses. Ralph also leaves behind a plethora of neices, and nephews, and a few close friends and colleagues.

Ralph grew up in Campbellton, NB, the youngest of 10, and like his father was a hunter and fisherman. As a kid his favourite past-time was riding the ice-floats on the
Restigouche River, thus giving his parents heart failure! He was an avid card player, enjoying Bridge, Cribbage, Euchre, Hearts, 952 and 45s, as well as Chess, Backgammon, and other board games; and enjoyed the game of Golf! Ralph’s idea of a perfect vacation was to go camping!

Joined the Airforce in 1958; retired in 1986.
Joined The Corp of Commissionaires in1994, retired in 2011.
A member of the Royal Canadian Legion for 46 years.

Those wishing to make a donation in Ralph’s memory, it is suggested that you choose the Alzheimer/Dementia Association; The Heart & Stroke Foundation; or The Diabetes
Association; all In the name of research for cures. THANK YOU!!

RIP Dad, already miss you! All the advice and giggles over the years eh? I know you are with Bob and most likely having to push him off your lap and telling him to behave! Remembering all the camping trips brings back the best memories and the way in which I choose to remember you. Not to mention all the advice given to me while serving in the military myself! Love you to the moon!

So glad we were able to share our 63rd Anniversary before you closed the chapter of our life together. We had our ups and downs like any couple, but the love always shone through! There are precious memories that I will never forget. Rest in peace until we meet again!
