It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Glen, following a short illness on May 31st, at the age of 81.
Glen is survived by his loving wife Kathleen; his dearly loved daughter Suzanne (Tim).
Glen is also survived by his son Mark, with whom he has recently re-connected and was grateful to have established a close friendship with him.
He was a very proud Grandad to Cameron and Tyler and was always excited to spend time with them.
Glen will be fondly remembered by many family members, friends and colleagues in Canada, Scotland, England, Australia and the U.S.A.
A special thank you to Dr. Kim, at the Queensway Carleton Hospital and Dr. Lawlor at the Bruyère Health Care Centre, Palliative Care Unit, their care was extraordinary.
In lieu of flowers please consider sending a donation to the Bruyère Health’s Palliative Care Unit for their dedicated care and support.
Family and friends are invited to Beechwood Funeral Home (280 Beechwood Ave.) on June 30th at 3pm to celebrate Glen's life.

Such a sad loss, my friendship with Glen lasted over 60 years he was such a dear friend. My late wife Ann and I were sorry when Glen and Kathleen left for Canada but the distance between us if anything strengthened our friendship. My thoughts and prayers are with Kathleen, their daughter Suzanne and family at this sad time.

We wish to express our condolences to Kathleen and family on Glen's passing. He and Kathleen were active residents of The Britannia when we arrived. Their enthusiasm and leadership among the over 200 residents who lived in our building was gratefully appreciated. That enthusiasm and friendliness continued over the course of two decades. Geoff enjoyed Glen's participation in the Britannia Golf Group and he is missed there.
