Surrounded by her loving daughters, Evelyn M Phinney passed away at the Queensway Carleton Hospital at the age of 83. Predeceased by her Mother, Verna Drew (Burns) and father, Clifford Robert Drew. Evelyn is survived by her brother James Drew, of St. Catherine’s, Ontario.
Survived by her 8 children, George Phinney (Nina) of Melvern Square, NS, Darlene Boutilier (Scott), Petawawa, Ont, Wendy Phinney-Fink (John), Ottawa, Ont, Belinda Caseley, Ottawa, Ont, Cindy Roy, Ottawa, Ont, Charles Phinney (Pat), Middleton, NS, Jackie Dooks (Derek), Melvern Square, NS and Tammy Phinney, PEI, along with nephew Bobby Drew and niece Deborah Drew.
She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, Micheal, JoAnne, Michelle, Jennifer, Geoffrey, Danny, Jessica, Joshua, Adam, Nick, Leah and Lori. Evelyn also had 12 great-grandchildren.
A beautiful service took place on May 30th, 2024 at Beechwood Cemetery in Ottawa with her family by her side.
