Passed away at the Ottawa Heart Institute on Thursday, June 16th 2022. Loving partner of Fang Tian. Cherished father of Isaac Da Silva Aboo, Sofia da Silva Aboo and Haowei Tian.
Aboo was a kind, supportive and loving father. He always cared about the people around him, which was apparent through his career as an exceptionally compassionate Doctor.
He will be remembered for his depth of wisdom, which he often shared with us through conversations about life, business and spirituality. Until his last moments, he stayed true to who he was. His strength and resilience were admirable, and that is something we will all take with us for the rest of our lives. He impacted numerous lives through his passion, and he will be deeply missed.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa), on Friday, June 24th, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

I was a patient of Dr. Aboo for many years. On my last visit, the day after my 80th Birthday, Dr. Aboo sang Happy Birthday and gave me a chocolate cup cake. I was truly surprised, it was just a sign of how caring and empathetic he was. A wonderful Doctor and man and I will truly miss him. Condolences to his family.

Mas ele era meu Tio .. na realidade mais que um tio ... UM PAI.. de pequenina sempre se preocupou comigo, sempre mto carinhoso, sempre teve o cuidado que nada me faltava, sempre muito atencioso... apesar de longe sempre presente .... Aboo era uma pessoa meiga, sempre com com um sorriso ( nunca o conheci doutra forma), amável., gentalman , sempre pronto ajudar o proximo, ficaria aqui horas a descrever o tão doce que era o meu Tio... Como médico sempre muito atencioso.. apesar de longe sempre:quando estavamos doentes ligava vezes sem conta ... tinha uma mente extaordinaria, com ele podiamos conversar de tdo, que não havia tabus que eu conhece se... meu Tio .. deixaste nos mto rápido , mto cedo, sem tempo de nos despedirmos, daria por td para ouvir a tua voz .. ter um abraço teu ... estejas onde estiveres.. estarás sempre presente nas nossas vidas... O MUNDO PERDEU UM ANJO ... O SEU GANHOU UMA ESTRELA ... um ate já !
