With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Carole Seay on November 15th, 2025. Carole was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose warmth and strength touched the lives of all who knew her.
Carole was preceded by her husband, Richard Seay, and her daughter, Victoria “Tori”. She is survived by her daughter Michelle Parent (Scott) and her brother Robert Payea, as well as her cherished grandchildren Marie & Annie. She will be missed by her niece and nephew Kim Derkson, and Jason Payea. Carole’s devotion to her family was the foundation of her life, and she took great pride and joy in each of them.
A graveside service will be held at Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services on November 29th at 11:00 a.m., where family and friends are welcome to gather in remembrance and celebration of Carole’s life.
Carole will be remembered for her kindness, resilience, and the love she shared so freely. She will be deeply missed and forever held in the hearts of those who knew her.

I met Carole at Humber College in 1986 when we both returned to college to learn a new skill .. computer programming. We subsequently worked at Sunlife after this training. She was a warm and kind person and I enjoyed working with her on school projects and at Sun. She stayed in touch after she moved to Ottawa and I always appreciated hearing from her via those lovely Christmas Cards she painted. My deepest condolences to Michelle and family. Rest in peace, Carole.

Retraining at Humber College in 1986/87 I met Carole and from the second semester we often worked together on projects. We both also got hired at Sun Life. Living in Bramalea at the time, we sometimes treavelled together. I have fond memories of that time. In 1990 we emigrated (back) to Holland. By a mutual friend we got the news of her move to Ottawa, the loss of Victoria and now her own passing. Wishing all the best
Carole and I and Joan Farmer used to get together once a week at Sunlife for a bitch,n,stitch and I almost finished a quilt. I will miss the lovely painted Christmas cards and catching up on family news. Safe journey Carole.
