It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Matthew Bonneville. A devoted husband, father, son and friend.
Matthew was the loving husband of Eve Desaulniers and proud father to his two boys, Liam and Lucas, who were the centre of his world. He will be forever remembered for his deep commitment to his family and his steady guidance.
He was the beloved son of Patrick and Catherine Bonneville and cherished brother to Joel Bonneville, as well as a treasured member of his extended family.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. His memory will live on in the lives he touched and the love he gave so freely.
Family and friends are invited to Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa, ON), on Saturday, May 30th, 2026, for a Visitation from 12 noon until the time of the Memorial Service in Beechwood’s Sacred Space at 1:00 p.m. with a Reception to follow.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Matthew, please consider contributing towards Support Our Troops
Though his time with us was far too short, Matthew’s legacy of love, service and devotion will never be forgotten.

Pat, Cath, Joel … I am literally heartbroken. Words can’t describe or do justice to the sorrow. I have such fond memories of Matthew, an amazing young man raised by incredible parents. My thoughts are with you and of course his young family at this most challenging time. Caringly and with much love, Kev.
