If you were looking for Harvey, Jill would say, “ If he is not at home, there are 3 places he could be. - at the airport, on his way to the airport, or on his way home from the airport. Harvey took great pride in teaching new pilots and more often than not, did not charge his students. He would say, “Just put some gas in the airplane.” Harvey maintained his instrument and instructor rating until he turned 87. He begrudgingly hung up the “spurs”. A great friend and mentor to many, Harvey will be missed, but will be together with his beloved wife Jill (Captain (retired) Jill Roddick, MMM,CD.)
