Our beloved father passed away on Saturday June 22, 2024 at the age of 87. Bishan was a proud retired decorated military officer of the Indian Army who lived a full and remarkable life. Rendered fatherless at the tender age of nine, he epitomized strength and resilience of a self-made man.
Throughout his life, Bishan touched the lives of countless friends and strangers with his kindness and generosity. His legacy of helping others and making a difference in the world will be remembered by all who knew him.
Bishan was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His unwavering love and dedication to his family were the cornerstones of his life. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and inspiration that will continue to guide and inspire his family members.
He will be deeply missed, but his memory and the values he instilled in us will live on forever.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday June 25th at the Sacred Space of the Beechwood National Memorial Centre, 280 Beechwood Ave. Ottawa, ON after 1 p.m. Mantra Prayer Service will begin at 1:30 p.m. followed by a private family witnessing of cremation.
