Beryl, 81, passed away peacefully in Ottawa on October 16, 2022, surrounded by family, after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease. She faced her illness with remarkable strength, determination, and spirit, inspiring all who knew her.
While she touched many lives as a teacher, she was most proud of being a mother. She did her very best to give Claire and Paul every opportunity, and they will always remain deeply grateful for her love and support.
Beryl delighted in travel, languages, books, and gardening, and most of all in time spent with her family and many friends. She is deeply missed and held forever in our hearts.
Beryl was a warm friend and gracious hostess. We enjoyed many good times with her and Bob. Fondly remember sailing to Pinhey’s Point for picnics and getting takeout from Shwarma Palace to eat in the park. We will miss her.
