Barbara passed away peacefully after a long illness.
Barbara was predeceased by her beloved husband of 55 years, RCAF Maj (retired) Gabriel Robert “Bob” Nagy, CD. Devoted mother of Kim Payne (Bill), Robin (Eldon), and Karen (Chris). Cherished grandmother of Mike, Kate (Nate), Kelly (Valier) and Nicklaus, and great grandmother to Jacob and Charlie.
The family would like to thank Dr. Shauna Bassel and all the support staff of the Riverside Family Health Team, who always answered our calls and helped us to provide the best care for our mother. Thank you also to Dr. Brendan McCormick and Dr. Janet Lynn Davis and the entire team of the Multi Kidney Care Clinic who provided our mother with amazing care and compassion throughout the past year.
Barbara’s remains will be interred alongside her husband at the National Military Cemetery of the Canadian Forces.
