It is with great sadness that the family of Adassa E. Davis announces her sudden passing on July 4, 2022.

Adassa was a loving mother to the late Janice (Wayne) and Gary (Adriana), grandmother to Jaden, Taliana and Tiago, sister, aunt and dear friend.

Her dedication to her grandchildren is what brought her the most joy and highlighted the true beauty of her heart. Her passion to live life, her strength and courage will continue to be inspiring.

A memorial service will be held Friday, July 15th, 2022 1:30 p.m. in the Sacred Space of Beechwood Cemetery. The family will receive condolences at 1 p.m. Friends and Family are invited to a reception after the burial.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Arthritis and Cancer Societies.

Adassa was my sweet quiet neighbour for a few years. She never asked anything from anyone in this neighbourhood. She remained as strong and as independent as she was until she passed. My husband (Michael) and I will miss the little lady next door for sure. It's sad to lose a mother and a sister. It's time like these that one can be gratevul for giving all they can while they are alive. I was lucky this way. Goodbye my friend xo

My friend, we’ve had many, many years of great friendship and years of good and bad times together. I can’t say how saddened I was when I called you to chat and have a good laugh together, only to hear from Norman that you had passed. I know you suffered for many years and I truly hope you are finally at peace. I still want to pick up the phone to call you and chat. I miss you terribly. May you RIP my dearest friend. I’ll never forget you. Until we meet again.

My dear Aunty I will undoubtedly miss you and share the pain of your loss with the rest of our family. In it’s place however, I will push forward all of the fond memories I have of visiting you and spending holidays at your house in my youth. Rest well Aunty Adassa, you’ll always be in my heart and I love you ❤️.

Adassa you became a good friend over the past years. I am so sad and glad at the same time, because now there's no pain and you're at peace.

May the blessings of a good life lived follow you into Heaven.
My friend Adassa was a member of the Link Up Netball Team, and a friend to her colleagues at Canadian Bank Note.
Your footsteps can never be filled, nor your love ever forgotten.
Rest In Peace, until we meet again.

We were saddened by the news of Adassa's passing. Although she is out of her pain we know it is a great loss to you all. She was a lovely woman on the few occasions we were able to meet with her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time and the days ahead. Norman and Jo we admired all that you have done for her during her battle with illness. Hugs to the family. xoxo
