It is with profound love and sadness that we announce the passing of Lorraine McNally (nee Holden), a devoted wife, loving mother, aunt, and cherished friend. Lorraine passed away on January 10th at the age of 69. To know her was to love her. She always thought of others before herself. Known for her kindness, sense of humour, and generosity, she touched the lives of all those she met. Lorraine had a deep love for her Scottish heritage, her family, nature, and knitting. Her warmth and compassion will always be remembered.
Lorraine is survived by her loving husband Wayne, her twin daughters Alanna and Erica, her sister Lynn, and brother Al. She was predeceased by her parents Ray and Francis Holden.
We are forever grateful for the loving memories she has left us with. She passed away peacefully at the Ottawa Hospital surrounded by family.
A memorial service will be held for her immediate family and close friends at a later date.
For those wishing, donations can be made to the Ottawa Cancer Society.

Our condolences for your loss of your loving mother and wife
May she rest in peace
It is with sincere sympathy that I write this. I worked with Lorraine over 45 years ago. She was always dynamic and caring. We reconnected in the last 10 years through Sherry Webster. I live in Vancouver but was able to see her when I was in Ottawa. She will be truly missed as she was a loving mother, wife and friend.
