It is with profound love and sadness that we announce the passing of Lorraine McNally (nee Holden), a devoted wife, loving mother, aunt, and cherished friend. Lorraine passed away on January 10th at the age of 69. To know her was to love her. She always thought of others before herself. Known for her kindness, sense of humour, and generosity, she touched the lives of all those she met. Lorraine had a deep love for her Scottish heritage, her family, nature, and knitting. Her warmth and compassion will always be remembered.
Lorraine is survived by her loving husband Wayne, her twin daughters Alanna and Erica, her sister Lynn, and brother Al. She was predeceased by her parents Ray and Francis Holden.
We are forever grateful for the loving memories she has left us with. She passed away peacefully at the Ottawa Hospital surrounded by family.
A memorial service will be held for her immediate family and close friends at a later date.
For those wishing, donations can be made to the Ottawa Cancer Society.

We are so grateful for all of the love and support from everyone who knew our mom. Everyone's words ring true. She was the life of the party and the light in any room, making sure everyone was taken care of before herself. She will be forever remembered and forever missed for the wonderful woman that she was. She left a lasting impression on us all. ❤️

My heart goes out to you, Wayne, Alanna, Erica, Lynn, and Al; I'm so very sorry for your loss. I had the honour of meeting Lorraine through my dear Aunt Carole. When I think of her, I remember her warm smile and friendly nature. Lorraine was a joy to know. She is simply one of the sweetest people I've ever met, and she was lots of fun too. Time always passed quickly in her company. Even though I didn't see her often, I will miss her and was blessed to know her. Lorraine, thank you for the wonderful memories.
