It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Suzanne Bédard at the age of 92. Beloved wife of Robert for 65 and a half wonderful years, cherished mother to Sylvie (Larry), Paul (Elizabeth), Charles (Valerie) and Michèle (Ian), devoted grandmother to 12 grandchildren, and proud great-grandmother to 7. She was predeceased by her parents Cécile and Sylvio Desbiens, and her siblings Hélène, Louise, and Guy. She is survived by her loving sister Diane and many nieces and nephews.
Suzanne will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and quirky sense of humour. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the generations she helped shape. She will be deeply missed.
Family and friends are invited to gather in the Sacred Space of the Beechwood National Memorial Centre, 280 Beechwood Ave. Ottawa on Saturday July 26 after 1 p.m. Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Ottawa Hospital Foundation - Cancer Research Program will be appreciated.
