It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of David Orval Lewis on Tuesday August 12, 2025, at the age of 60.

David was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be deeply missed by his children, Alisha (Mark), Rachelle, and Nathan and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Dezmend and Emmett, who brought him endless joy.

David was predeceased by his father Orval Harris. He is survived by his mother Betty Buckland Lewis (Lee Buckland) and his brothers, Dwight, Dwayne, and Dennis, and along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members and friends who were blessed to share in his life.

A man with a natural gift for working with his hands, David loved fishing, tinkering under the hood of any car, and was happiest when surrounded by the people he loved. He was always the life of party and his spirit will be remembered by all who knew him.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate his memory by sharing any memories and stories that made him so special.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date, please check back for further details as they become available.

I was saddened when I heard about the death of my cousin Davey. I remember him fondly has a little boy. He was always nice, respectful and very polite. Rest in paradise..... Cousin Meda

To David's family,

Please accept my sincere condolences, love and prayers. Although, I have not seen David it decades, I have very fond memories of him and his siblings growing up in the West Side on Baby Street, and / or visiting his cousins Robert and Margaret Lewis there daily!

I pray his spirit is Heavenly Rest and Eternal Peace ✝️ 🙏🏾
