We are saddened to announce the passing of Helena Elizabeth Deborah (Debby) on July 25th at Otterson Place in Ottawa at the age of 75. Cherished daughter of the late Meryle and Frances (Breen) Amo. Sister to Myles (Angie Jamieson) of Arden, Donna(Marc Johnson)of Kemptville, Judy (Ian Leverette) of Iroquois, Wendy (Bud Boldt) of Arnprior, Jamie (Doris) of Stittsville, Tommy of Smith Falls and Susie of Smith Falls. Predeceased by a sister Barbara and a brother Peter. Sweet Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Friends may join the family for a graveside service at 2:00 pm on Wednesday August 13th at Beechwood Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Upper Otterson Place for their endearing care of Debby, who always gave the biggest smile and gave the biggest bear hugs.

I’m so deeply sorry for your loss. It was truly an honour to have worked for such a beautiful, kind hearted soul. Her warmth, grace, and gentle spirit touched everyone around her including me.
