It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Mireille Roy (born Larivière) died peacefully at home on December 11, 2024, at the age of 90.
Daughter of the late Henri Larivière and the late Lucie Richard. Wife of the late Paul-Émile Roy. Dear mother of Jean Roy (Murielle), Christiane Roy (Richard). Proud grandmother of Shawn, Michel (Gabrielle), Josée (Jordan), Nadia (Simon) and Daniel; and great-grandmother of Alec and Ophélie.
Sister of Gilberte (late Claude), Gabrielle (late Marcel), late Fleurette (late Roger), late Valéda (late Bernard), late Aldège, late Aldéna (late Jean-Paul), late Dora-Luce (late Gérald), late Réjeanne. She leaves to mourn her sisters-in-law and her brothers-in-law, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Family and friends are asked to gather at the Beechwood National Memorial Centre, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa, on Friday, January 10th, 2025, from 12:30 to 13:00. A religious ceremony will be celebrated at 13:00 followed by a reception.
The family would like to thank the staff at Chartwell Jardins Notre-Dame for the loving care they gave to our mom Mireille.
