It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Mr. Roch Lalonde. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at the age of 85. Dear son of the late Lancelot Lalonde and the late Gaby Laroche. He is survived by his wife, Claire Lalonde (Langlois), his children: Michèle, Daniel, Serge; his grandchildren: Annie, Pascal, Christiane, Maxime, Justin, Karine and his great grandchildren: Noah, Aiden, Max, Rémi, Étienne, Mireille and Lyla. He also leaves his brother and sisters: Marc (Gayle O’Callaghan), Francine (late Moe Brian), Darquise (Paul Moore) as well as many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and friends. He was predeceased by his sister Jocelyne. The family wishes to thank the Long Term Care Home Centre Champlain for their excellent care. In memory of our Papa Roch, donations may be made to the Support from Dementia Society of Ottawa | The Dementia Society.
The family will welcome you for a Celebration of his Life, November 20, 2024 from 10am to 11am, followed by a reception at the Beechwood Cemetery (280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa).
