It is with great sadness that the family of Jeffrey Orange announce his sudden passing at home on October 3, 2024, at the age of 53. Jeff will be lovingly remembered by his wife Andrea Allevato, his father Winston (Lucille Parizeau), and his sisters, Kelly (Guy Lacasse) and Tracy. He was predeceased by his mother, Sandra Platt. Jeff will be greatly missed by his numerous other family members and friends.

Jeff was a big man with a big heart, and an even larger-than-life personality. While he faced struggles in early adulthood, he overcame them with strength and determination. He always held the memory of his beloved mother, Sandra close to his heart. He valued his marriage and family above all else. His family, friends and colleagues will miss his sense of humour, his generosity and the way he could talk to anyone about anything, especially movies or music.

Family and friends are invited to a Visitation at Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa), on Thursday, October 17th from 6 to 9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Anglican Church, 2345 Alta Vista Drive, on Friday, October 18th at 11am. Reception to follow in the church hall.  Memorial donations may be made in Jeff’s name to the Ottawa Food Bank.

I am in shock and deeply saddened to hear about Jeff's passing. He was not only an incredible colleague but he also became a very good friend. His warmth, kindness, and unwavering loyalty will be missed deeply.

Jeff had a unique ability to bring light to any room, and his positive energy and sense of humor touched the lives of everyone he met.

During this difficult time, my thoughts are with Andrea, his family, and loved ones.

Rest Easy Jeff, you will be sorely missed!

It’s has been a pleasure watching you grow from a young boy who would only eat peanut butter, no crust sandwiches to the handsome, talented man whose palate opened up to enjoying life and love. You will be missed. Love cousin Natalie.
